Good Day Sunshine: Traveling through Boston

Place: Boston – On a warm and sunny afternoon, I decided to travel to East Boston and near the waterfront. The main reason for going to this end of Boston was to track down one of the venues that the Beatles had played at.

Suffolk Downs Race Track – The Beatles played at Suffolk Downs on what turned out to be the last U.S. tour.

Piper Plane Mounted on the Roof of a Restaurant – I wonder if this plane was the restaurant owner’s. It is about a mile from Logan Airport.

Seabiscuit Memorial -Suffolk Downs was where the famous race hourse, Seabiscuit, was discovered.

Aquarium MBTA Blue Line Station – This station is at one end of the tunnel under Boston Harbor.

Federal Reserve Bank Building – This is an isolated tall building in the Boston skyline. Doesn’t it look like a washboard?
