Wandering Around Hull, MA

Hull is a great place to go to see the ocean. Evidences of past activity on the coastal town can still be seen.

Hull once had active forts, dating back to the Revolutionary War; however, the current remnants of Ft. Revere date back to WWI. There is a monument jointly dedicated by Hull and the country of France, however, that is in rememberance of the French soldiers and sailors that built and staffed the first fort, Fort Independence (the 1st one in the area).

Hull was also an old resort town. There was an amusement park, Paragon Park, that drew people. It no longer exists: the historical sign, clock tower, and the carousel are all that are left. One of the cooler things was finding the old art deco bath house for Nantasket Beach that recently was fully restored.
