Wanderings through Dedham

I continued to add waymarks to old Dedham. Here they are:

The East Dedham fire station always interested me because it was an unusual structure for a firehouse. Not long before, I went to the Dedham Historical Society headquarters to see a “Then and Now” exibit about the town. One of the photos showed part of the firehouse from many years back. The photo showed that the firehouse had a tower at one time. The text mentioned that it was the oldest wooden structured firehouse in the country. The pictures caught the firehouse in a recent rennovation that replaced the siding.

In the window of Ron’s Ice Cream, there was this neon sign for Cakes by Pat . I tried to look up the enterprise but found nothing about it other than a page on Ron’s web site. Is it only offered through Ron’s?
